Fine Art Photography Care & Handling
Hey there! Here’s a friendly guide to keeping your beautiful mounted fine art photograph in tip-top shape. Let’s dive in!
How to Clean Your Mounted Fine Art Photograph
When it comes to cleaning your fine art photograph, a little caution goes a long way! Following the manufacturer’s advice, gently dust the picture glazing using a soft, damp cloth or chamois. Remember to apply only light pressure, rinse with clean water, and dry by gently blotting the cloth. Be sure to steer clear of dry or gritty cloths, as they can scratch the surface and create static.
Also, avoid using window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring products, or solvents like acetone, gasoline, or lacquer thinner—these can seriously harm your image!
Environment
Our fine art is crafted with advanced technology and top-notch materials. While we’ve added UV protection, it’s best to avoid placing your photograph in direct sunlight, high humidity, or extreme temperatures. Keeping it in environments over 75°F, exposed to direct sunlight, or with humidity above 60% can lead to fading or even bubbles forming on the mounted image.
With these tips, your fine art photograph will stay stunning for years to come! Enjoy your beautiful piece!
