Do You Have a Return Policy?

For our Limited Edition and Open Edition fine art pieces, each one is custom-made just for you. Because of this, we aren’t able to offer returns or exchanges.


Can I Exchange My Limited Edition Artwork for a Different Photograph?

Each piece in the Von Hesse Fine Art Limited Edition collection is crafted to order, so we can't switch out your artwork once it’s been ordered. We want you to love your choice, so please take your time when deciding!


Will Von Hesse Fine Art Buy Back My Artwork?

At this time, we don’t have a “buy back” program in place. If you’re considering selling a piece from your collection, we recommend doing some thorough market research. Consulting a certified professional appraiser can also be super helpful—they can answer any specific questions you might have about the process.


Can I Cancel My Limited Edition Artwork?

Since all our works are custom orders, production starts right after you place your order. This means that once production begins, we can’t cancel, return, or refund your order. If you do need to cancel or make changes (like resizing or changing the image), there’s a 60% restocking fee due to the substantial production costs involved. Once the piece is in Production and shipped, it’s non-cancellable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

Careful Packaging: Every print dispatched from the Von Hesse Gallery undergoes meticulous inspection and is packaged with utmost care to safeguard its integrity during transit. Our packaging methods are tailored to ensure that your print arrives safely, ready to be cherished for years to come.

 Your print is delivered to your doorstep by a reliable courier service. We prioritise the safety of your artwork throughout the delivery process, and each shipment is fully insured from dispatch to your home, providing you with peace of mind.

Each print that is dispatched from Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography is checked and package appropriately to protect the valuable goods and is fully insured from our door to yours.


Damage Process

If your Limited Edition piece shows any signs of damage, you have the right to inspect the artwork before signing for it. Please don’t refuse delivery—instead, ask the driver to note the damage. Make sure to keep the original packaging, including the box and protective corners.


If possible, take at least 4-6 digital photographs of the box and the damage and send them to john@von-hesse.com. Your request must be made within 7 days of delivery  any period after this will be rejected.To ensure we can assist your request please  include a photo of your receipt as proof of purchase. If you have a preferred way to be contacted or a specific time that works best for you, feel free to include that in your email.


One of our team members will get back to you within 2 business days with further instructions. We want to resolve this for you as quickly as possible!


Just a quick note: Von Hesse Fine Art Photography and any affiliated carriers aren’t responsible for damage that happens during hanging or any secondary transport after the initial delivery. That’s why we highly recommend inspecting your piece carefully upon receipt.
