TERMS AND CONDITIONS

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Workshop registration or booking fees must be paid in full by the invoice due date to confirm your place in the workshop. Once payment has been received, you will be sent email confirmation of receipt of your payment.

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

If we cancel a workshop or event, the cost of the workshop will be refunded less any non-refundable fees levied, including fees charged by booking systems such as Humanitix, Eventbrite, credit card transaction fees, or deposits for accommodation bookings. You will also be similarly refunded if the workshop is re-scheduled by us, and you are unable to attend on the new date.

Cancellation by participants must be made in writing. If you cancel your paid booking prior to fourteen (14) days of the workshop date, the workshop fee will be refunded less any booking or transaction fees, including fees charged by booking systems such as Eventbrite, credit card transaction fees, or deposits for accommodation bookings.

Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography is not responsible for any other costs which workshop participants may have incurred including but not limited to travel, car rental, flights, insurance, photographic purchases, and/or rentals.

POSTPONEMENT POLICY

If you have booked and paid for a workshop and are unable to attend on the workshop date, and if another similar workshop is offered at the time of transfer, you can choose to transfer your booking to the next workshop. If the subsequent workshop is canceled by Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography, you will receive a refund less 25% of the workshop fee.

Please note that bookings cannot be transferred within  (14 days of the workshop date.

CHANGES TO WORKSHOP SCHEDULE AND LOCATION

All workshop schedules, locations, and plans are subject to change at our discretion depending upon weather, health and safety considerations, or any other factor related or unrelated to photographic opportunities as we see fit.

WAIVER

In the event of any content such as video or media content, photos, Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography tours, or individuals being part of Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography, hereby waive any right to any compensation or financial payment in any form, and/or in the event Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography may use the media footage as promotional material. By paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to the terms above.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography accepts no liability for death, illness, or injury, or loss or damage to photo equipment or personal belongings during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto.

We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop, we will provide a full refund, which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement. In the event of a workshop cancellation by Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography, liability of Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography to participants shall be limited to the total value of the workshop. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

By joining any workshops offered by Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography, participants acknowledge that they are aware of risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography, John Von Hesse, guest presenters, workshop assistants, and models from any liability. Von Hesse, Fine Art Photography, John Von Hesse, guest presenters, workshop assistants, and models will assume no liability for injury, illness, or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.

YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS CONTRACT

In reserving a place on the workshop by paying the workshop fee, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions

No refund is available if you cancel within (14) days of the workshop date.
